We're not afraid of a little vintage flair — join our annual pilgrimage to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, camping riverside with the collective and two thousand gigs to choose from.
Line dancing at dusk, bush poets at dawn, and a campsite that becomes a family by day three.
Day by day
Day 1
Depart Gold Coast and depart Brisbane, Queensland. Arrive Tamworth.
Roll in & set up camp. Riverside camp setup, Eskies stocked and first sunset jam session at the camping music stage. Dinner. Attend evening Country music performances.
Day 2–3
Festival immersion
Peel Street buskers, big-ticket shows and the famous Toyota Park concerts. Country artist Andrew Fariss (INXS) free Concert. Visit Longyard Hotel.
Day 4
Golden Guitar day
Peel Street Cavalcade. Visit the Hands of Fame Park. Toyota Park Concerts. In general we don't watch the Golden GuitarAwards — But you can catch country music's biggest night, live and loud on screens at venues in Tamworth that we will be attending. We usually catch up with a discussion about the awards the next morning during breakfast.
Day 5
Sunday morning concerts & farewells. Return to Queensland
Slow morning, poetry and yarns, final campfire singalong. Leave Tamworth for Queensland approximately 1pm. Bush poetry breakfast,
