Our signature Cape York experience — the frontier journey guests keep calling the trip of a lifetime. From Cairns we track north through ancient cattle country, crossing the wild Wenlock, Archer and Jardine rivers to stand at Pajinka, the northernmost point of mainland Australia.
This is slow, curious travel done properly: hidden waterfalls, rainforest tracks, remote swimming holes and the stories of the oldest living culture on earth. Small group, big country, zero rushing.
Day by day
Day 1–2
Cairns to Lakefield
Meet your crew in Cairns, then north via the Cooktown Development Road into Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park — lagoons, lotus lilies and our first campfire under a very big sky.
Day 3–5
River country
Cross the Wenlock and Archer rivers, swim in crystal-clear spring-fed holes and roll into the heart of the Peninsula's savannah country.
Day 6–8
The Old Telegraph Track
Tackle legendary sections of the OTT — Gunshot Creek optional for the brave — with fruit bat falls and green oasis swims along the way.
Day 9–11
Jardine & the Torres Strait edge
Cross the mighty Jardine by ferry, explore Mutee Head and the WWII history of the northern peninsula.
Day 12
Pajinka — The Tip
The walk to the sign at the top of Australia. Photos, cheers, and that quiet moment when it sinks in.
Day 13–14
Southbound stories
Easy return to Cairns via coastal tracks, with a farewell dinner and a camera roll full of proof.
