The Nulla Nulla Safari is our annual crossing of the Kimberley, a 21-day camping expedition through one of the last truly wild corners of Australia. From the ancient beehive domes of the Bungle Bungles to the red dirt tracks and thundering waterfalls of the Gibb River Road, this is a journey through landscapes shaped over two billion years. Along the way, we'll explore pristine gorges, hidden swimming holes, vast cattle stations and some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the country.
Expect mornings beneath towering boab trees older than cathedrals, afternoons discovering Indigenous rock art galleries that tell stories stretching back thousands of generations, and evenings soaking in natural thermal springs as the outback sun slips below the horizon. We'll camp under impossibly big skies, share stories around the fire and experience a rhythm of travel that feels a world away from everyday life. This is immersive, off-grid adventure in its purest form.
When darkness falls, the Kimberley puts on one of nature's greatest shows, with a Milky Way so bright it seems to cast a shadow across the earth. It's this combination of rugged landscapes, remote beauty, genuine camaraderie and unforgettable moments that makes the Nulla Nulla Safari so special.
